‘The village’ meant shared cross-generational wisdom, mutual support and care. Today that village seems like a distant memory or something belonging only in TV series like Gilmore Girls or Parenthood.
We are expected to do it all - relationships, parenthood, careers - without guides, support, allies, a roadmap, all the while also focusing on our personal development consistently.
It’s too much.
As a personal strategist and executive coach I work with those who are committed to their personal growth but who understand they don’t have to do it alone.
